HDPE Flap Valve
As part of Waterfront's continued product development we have designed a complete range of HDPE (High Density Polyethlyene) Flap Valves. This range highlights several areas where improvement has been achieved and they are:
1.Lightweight
This results in an ease of transport and installation.
2.UV Stable
They will not become brittle in direct sunlight.
3.Operational
Reduced Head loss (10% of Cast Iron and 30% of comparable non-metallic products)
High operational temperature range i.e. 80°C to -40°C
No weigh-in value making them undesirable to thieves
4.Flexibility
The product can be easily fitted to suit any installation type:
Flat wall mounted
On angle for tidal situations
Tapered spigot for a 'push fit' into existing pipes
Pipe mounted spigot using a bandseal
Flange mounted to either PN16 or PN10
Different shaped outfalls i.e. square, round, elliptical
Suitable for pumped outfalls with integral stroke limiters and vent pipes
5.Maintenance
The product requires no greasing at all giving vastly reduced whole life costs.
