Leakage

Waterfront Engineering penstocks/Sluice gates will be manufactured to BS7775 if installation has been carried out correctly this standard covers the general specification of penstocks and leakage rates under either on or off-seating heads.

Waterfront Engineering penstocks/Sluice gates will be manufactured

For resilient sealing faces subject to on-or off –seating up to and including six metres the leakage rate shall not exceed 0.5 l/ (min-m) of seal perimeter. 

For resilient sealing faces subject to on-or off –seating up to and including six metres the leakage rate shall not exceed 0.5 l/ (min-m) of seal perimeter.
